How to become Healthy, Pain Free and Deal with Stress.

Stress

Stress is a negative and unpleasant condition which may be experienced when a person perceives that they are unable to meet the demands and pressures that are placed upon them and which may be associated with a range of ill effects both physiological, psychological, Cognitive, Behavioural and Social.  It is recognised that the causes of stress may lie within the organisation, the work environment, the job itself or work relationships.

Stress may be seen as an inability to cope or a feeling of inability to cope with the demands of life. It is the degree and frequency of stress, which may cause harmful effects on individuals and corporations.

A moderate level of stress can be beneficial and produce improved performance. However performance deteriorates when stress levels become high.

Increased levels of negative stress result in low staff morale, mistakes, aggression, poor mental clarity, anger, poor health (sleep problems, impotence, indigestion, headaches, high blood pressure, neck and back pain) irritability, boredom, inability to concentrate, impulsive behaviour, reduced effectiveness and efficiency. This results in long working hours, poor performance, loss of productivity and low job satisfaction.

Continuous stress leads to severe long term effects especially in the following three areas

Shaolin Qigong can help you regain control of stress and its inducing factors, leading to a healthier work/life balance. Almost all of the problems on the list of the effects can be solved without medication and its side effects by taking part in the simple yet profound training programme.
